KoreaDev processes only the minimum information needed to provide education, retain language choices and learning progress, measure anonymous visits, and operate advertising. Text entered in the prompt tool is processed only in your browser and is neither sent to nor stored on KoreaDev servers.

Your selected language is kept for one year in the koreadev-locale cookie and browser storage, while course completion is kept in browser storage. Clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes this information.

Visit statistics retain the requested learning path, country-level location, a non-reversible anonymous visitor ID created with an operational secret, and a network range shortened to IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48 for up to 400 days. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the statistics database, and no public statistics dashboard is provided.

Google AdSense and Google's advertising partners may use or read cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, limit frequency, and prevent abuse. Visitors in regions that require consent can choose whether to receive personalized ads through a Google-provided or Google-certified consent message.
